My sis went fishing the other day and got me a char. I tried char once but hardly can remember how it tasted like. Probably similar like a trout.
A lot of fish bones for sure and jr wouldn’t enjoy eating it. Therefore filleting would be a good choice. I minced the star and turned it into a fish cake. Should be safe to eat.
My fridge has little veggies, didn’t manage to go to buy grocery. Thankful for whatever was in the fridge, less is more.
Even when you have less ingredients to work with, the effort still takes this long. It took me more than 1.5 hours to present this meal.
I feel very comfortable in my world, also mentioned pretty enough that it’s my way of therapy. Forgetting about the day and just focusing in preparing the meal for the one I love. Finding peace and time for myself in cooking. Realizing how thankful I am be surrounded with love. I cannot ask for more. A place where no one can intrude it.
Thankful for the char my sis caught. She gave me a chance to work with this star and it was very interesting.
My humble stars were: char fennel and rice
