Very impressive

I bought a few kind of potatoes weeks ago, the blue swede and the st. gallen (a new bred) one which were baked in the oven weren’t jr favourite. I guess he didn’t like the texture and the taste. For me the “coque rouge” was the best among them.

So those blue cooked potatoes were in my fridge for a week and no one even gave them a glance. How sad.. I turned them into a snack and look what happened.

Jr liked them and was trying to figure out the ingredients. He was very suprised when I told him what it was. Honestly, I was smiling because I made him ate them.

It was indeed fun and a pleasure for me, whenever I can give the leftover a new brush up. As long as I do not need to waste my stars.

There is a picture in my mind where I wanted to cook but I failed. Yes I failed, less preparing and less research leading to failure. It didn’t always work the way you think but it’s ok. We need to understand why it didn’t work and knowing the problem would help you to develop.

I used to be very upset about that but nowadays I can deal with it. It wasn’t that terrible to accept it.

See how it turned out in the end, in this snack, it had some of my stars were I couldn’t use for that picture. Nothing is wasted. There is always a good side of it.

my stars were: blue swede -, st. gallen potatoes, cake crumbles with egg and cheese
