I ordered this polpo tenakel. Little did I know how to handle it. It’s about exploring the journey. Testing and trying.
There are several of way to cook it. Maybe the easiest way would have been to cook it with garlic, a bit lemon juice, salt and peppers.
First I thought I already chose the simplest way to handle it.
Since I had some tomatoes, which needed to use. Here it goes.
It was so fun plating this meal. Especially the colour, it looked so heartwarming.
The first bite in one of the superstars made me wanted to have another one.
Then it shocked me when I had that polpo in my mouth. My face pulled together. Yuk, the tomato made the polpo tasted so fishyπ. I couldn’t go on eating them anymore. Even though I tried for another one but it still tasted the same. I truly screwed it.π
What went wrong?π€
Looking at the plate, I was so frustrated..thinking around what was wrong, which step was the caused. I had no clue.π€·π»ββοΈ
I need to try to work with it again. Need to find out!
After all, the rest of the superstars were much better without that polpo.
What have we learned, even though the plating was very beautiful, but it didn’t mean it tastes good at all. So don’t just look at the appearance.
If something didn’t work out as expected, don’t easily give up. Keep trying and you will get better.
I don’t just post the success and good one here, also my disaster one. It’s important to see that we all aren’t perfect. We grow from mistakes and improve by practising.
