A treat for myself

Jr was out last night and all I had plan to cook was stopped. Therefore, I only need to make something for myself. It’s kind of weird. Because I usually would only eat the leftover from Jr’s.

This time I could cook whatever I want without meat… I chose the simplest way…making a salad….it’s too hot to eat warm food anyway.

I had leftover pineapple, watermelon and expired protein cheese in my fridge…(the expired food is a tic in the family…🙈)

Added up with fresh chili, peppermint and some leftover homemade lemon dressing and cooked spring onions. It was like a roller coaster. A mixing of sweet, sour, salty and then spicy flavor…at the end the freshment of peppermint…it was so cool. Even when the chili was too spicy…that it tickled my neck and my ears.

It was so insane, chili used to be easy peasy for me but as time goes by, I couldn’t take it that easy anymore…even my fingers would start to burn… not from cutting them but from eating them…..and my face got some allergic reaction too….I think one day I probably can’t eat anything anymore…..anyway it was worth it though….

My superstars were: pineapple, watermelon, springonions, protein cheese, peppermint and chili
