I can recall when I had tried Taro root as a kid. It was the smaller type and it did taste funny back then. I couldn’t place the taste. Despite of the taste I founded it very interesting to eat but it was bland too.
Growing up I find my interest in Taro and it was ok eventhough the taste was still bland for me. I like it that way. It actually feels so comfortable to eat.
But never eat it raw. I tried a small piece to see how it tasted like. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. My mouth were itchy and it felt weird. The root is poison when eating raw. So always make sure you cook it well. Sometimes I’m like a small kid and put everything in my mouth.🙄
I need to confess that I have a weakness for all types of yams.
Taro stem is one of my favourite veggies too. It seems like I cannot resist them.🙈
This time I wanted to use my special guest to work with the other stars.
It took me a while to prepare for it but it was worth it.
